Cadillac’s 2017 models will come equipped with intelligent vehicle technologies, as was announced by Mary Barra, the GM CEO of the company at the 2014 World Congress. These select models will include vehicle-to-vehicle communication and automated driving as well. The global auto industry is in the middle of innovations and Cadillac seems to take a big lead in this direction as the leader of new technology.
The advanced ‘Intelligent and Connected’ models are slated for production in about two years and the customers can enjoy some new technologies called Super Cruise and vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) communication technology. According to Barra, these new technologies will be the need of the customers tomorrow and the innovations are sure to make driving much safer on the roads. With hands-off lane following, control over braking and speed in certain driving conditions, the customers are sure in for a completely new driving experience in those 2017 Cadillac Models.
